The type of aerial you need to receive a good strong UHF (television) signal depends on your location, and how close to a transmitter your property is located.
In a good UHF reception area, we would usually recommend a 10 element (small low-cost digital aerial) which will be cost effective yet produce a crisp, clear picture. However, those who reside in a poor signal area will need a high-gain aerial which will maximise the weak signal that is available. Don't put up with that awful picture quality any longer!!
In many cases, a repair or slight adjustment to the existing aerial is all that is needed. Also, co-axial cables that run from the aerial to the television or distribution unit erode over time, greatly reducing the signal getting to the television set.
